Please use the following charts to convert your cardiovascular exercises into Miles Walked on the Camino.

Precor Bicycle (upright & recumbent) Conversion into Miles Walked:  
The Bicycles have a “Distance” button on the console. This will give you miles which will directly convert into walking miles.

Bicycling (Road) Conversion into Miles Walked:
Every mile Road-biked equals 1/3 miles walked. Example: 10 miles on a road bike equals 3.33 miles walked

Bicycling (Mountain) Conversion into Miles Walked:   
Every mile Mountain-biked equals 1 mile walked.

Precor Elliptical Crosstrainer (legs only) Conversion into Miles Walked:  
The Ellipticals have a “Distance” button on the console. This will give you miles which will directly convert into walking miles.

Stairmaster Conversion into Miles Walked:                   
The Stairmasters have a “Distance” button on the console. This will give you miles which will directly convert into walking miles.

Swimming Conversion into Miles Walked:
1,000 yards (914 meters) swimming equals 4 miles walked. Example: If you did 10 laps of our CCC Pool (which is 25 yards long, or 50 yards per lap) you would swim 500 yards (457 meters). This would be equal to 2 miles walked.

Train with Paine Exercise Class Conversion into Miles Walked:   
Each Class equals 5 miles walked.                                       

Yoga Exercise Class Conversion into Miles Walked:
Each Class equals 4 miles walked.
